as well as a luxurious lifestyle.
St.
Armand’s Circle on Lido Key
John Ringling
purchased a group of barrier islands off Sarasota hoping to create
a major tourist attraction that would include world-class restaurants,
elegant shops, and the finest hotels. St. Armand’s Circle
has become that destination. “The Circle”, as locals
call it, has exclusive shops, award winning restaurants, and a fabulous
nightlife. St. Armand’s Circle has become famous for all the
elegance it offers and is visited by thousands of tourists every
year.
The neighborhood
surrounding the Circle is called St. Armand’s. This highly
desired neighborhood offers homes located on canals and bay front
properties. Residents are in short walking distance to all the shops
located at St. Armand’s Circle and the beautiful Lido Beach.
Lido Key offers prime bay front properties, beach front condominiums,
and homes located on canals. The southern side of Lido offers a
skyline of downtown Sarasota and the Gulf. The northern side offers
the secluded Lido Beach. Living on Lido Key means having a private,
quiet life filled with great beauty and fun. Bird Key is a small
island located between the mainland of Sarasota and St. Armand’s.
Bird Key is an upscale neighborhood with 510 homes that have day
and night security. This island is located in the middle of Sarasota
Bay and has extraordinary waterfront views.
Siesta
Key Real Estate
Siesta
Key is most famous for its unbelievably perfect, white beaches.
The sand is cool, soft, and made from 99% pure quartz. People come
from all over the world to see the Siesta Key public beach and the
beautiful ocean that lies beyond it. Siesta Key is eight miles long
and the entire western side of the island faces the Gulf of Mexico.
At dusk hundreds of people come together to see, what some say,
is the most beautiful sunset in the world. The reverse side of the
island consists of various canals that lead to Sarasota Bay, or
if you are lucky you may find a property that is directly on the
bay. Siesta Key has become one of the most expensive places to live
in Sarasota because of the wonderful features it offers.
Besides the
beautiful beaches, this barrier island offers great sidewalks that
allow residents to jog, ride bikes, or roller blade the entire length
of the key. Siesta Village offers a variety of restaurants, clubs,
and shops. The waterfront real estate includes condominiums, single
family homes, and secluded estates. Many condominiums offer private
beaches and waterfront homes offer direct access to the ocean. Siesta
Key is a fun, beautiful place to live. The island is a play land
for boaters and outdoor enthusiasts. Both the rich and the famous
strive to own property here, because owning a home on Siesta Key
is like owning a small piece of Heaven.
The
Mainland of Sarasota
Sarasota is
a truly wonderful place to live. The town is full of vivid colors
and stunning foliage. The bright blue skies and wonderful weather
promote a lot of outdoor activities. A
daily view of Sarasota would include boaters, joggers, bike riders,
golfers, and residents spread all over town fishing. Sarasota is
famous for its wide array of golf courses. Golf is an important
aspect of Sarasota business and tourism. Sarasota promotes relaxation,
but at the same time it promotes the arts, culture, and education.
Sarasota has become the cultural capital of Florida’s Gulf
Coast.
The John and
Mable Ringling Museum of Art contains some of the world’s
most beautiful art and the museum has promoted the artistic lifestyle
throughout Sarasota. Our town has frequent music festivals, art
exhibitions, and is famous for our Sarasota Film Festival. The Sarasota
Opera Season runs from January to March and the Asolo Theater features
world renowned plays all year long. The Florida Winefest & Auction
is a week-long food and wine festival that raises funds for local
children’s charities. The local children are exposed to fabulous
art and culture, but also have opportunities to attend wonderful
local and private schools.
Sarasota also
offers a University of South Florida campus, the famed New College,
and the Ringling School of Art. The Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium
is located at the south end of Longboat Key. This world renowned
marine research center allows residents to view and learn about
local sea life. In addition to all of these wonderful things, Sarasota
offers great shopping, fantastic restaurants, and fabulous spas.
St. Armand’s Circle and Siesta Key offer breathtaking beaches,
great shopping, and wonderful food. Sarasota is a fun and relaxed
place to live. Everything you could need and want is right here
in beautiful Sarasota.
